Let’s face it: Tension is growing between natives or long-time Seattleites who’ve been here for years and Seattle transplants who have just arrived. Just recently, we talked with a native who thinks new residents threaten the character of the city and a transplant who is afraid to say she works at Amazon because she doesn’t want to be seen as the enemy.
How do we bridge this divide? We think it starts with getting curious about each other. So, here’s what we want to know:
- What do you want to ask a Seattle-area native?
- What do you want to ask a Seattle-area transplant?
- Do you consider yourself a Seattle-area native, a Seattle-area transplant, or something else?
