United Way’s Day of Caring: Help provide shoes to those without homes

Look down. What’s on your feet? Running shoes? Oxfords? Birkenstocks? Unfortunately, not everyone in Seattle has the luxury of proper footwear. That’s where you can make a difference as an Emerging Leader.

On Saturday, September 9, you can roll up your sleeves alongside 100 other young professionals to do good, network, and celebrate. United Way Emerging Leaders is partnering with Redeeming Soles to prepare proper footwear for people experiencing homelessness. Emerging Leaders will be cleaning and sorting shoes to prepare them for distribution to the people who need them most.

By participating in this Day of Caring project, you will join more than 12,000 do-gooders volunteering across Seattle. You will also receive an exclusive invitation to the “Night out for Caring” after-party on Friday, September 15 at Safeco field!

Limited spots available. RSVP here!
