It was one of the far-out flavors on tap at this weekend’s Strange Brewfest. Seattleite Kelly Ann made the trek to Port Townsend to have a taste.

“As beer festivals go this is in my top five,” Kelly told us. She posts her hoppy adventures all over the city on Instagram. “It’s the mix of being in Port Townsend, the unique vibe of the beerfest goers, and the creative concoctions the brewers bring along that really add up to an experience that’s unlike any other festival.”

“This was my first time attending and I’m sure I’ll go back.”

Up for having your own adventure this week? Let’s help you make some plans…

ABOUT THOSE EMOJIS…

There are tons of things to do around here every week, and as you can probably tell, we get a kick out of coming up with a short, fun mix of options for you each Monday.

Our goal? To give you ways you can learn something new, get to know people around you, and just have fun. That’s whether you’re flying solo, meeting friends, or taking kiddos.

So to help you scan for the kinds of events you’re into, we’re trying out a little emoji code:

💡  Hear new ideas
💪  Learn a new skill
🗣  Hear from your neighbors
👋  Meet your neighbors
🎈 Take the kids
🎵,  🎟,  🍿,  🎨,  🍴,  🍻: Take in music, live performance, film, art, food, drink, and all the other good stuff.

We’re all about experiments. Let us know how this one works out for you.

We’ll see you tomorrow. — The Evergrey
