“Anytime I try to leave, Seattle pulls me back with a new ways to be a tourist in my own city, like Hot Tub Boating around Lake Union!” reader Gabby Arens wrote us, and attached the pic above.

It’s one of the steamiest answers we got to a big question we’ve been talking about: “What keeps you in Seattle?” It also reminded us that there are hot tub boats on Lake Union and why are we not in them?

Yep, Hot Tub Boats is an actual Seattle company, founded by a local named Adam Karpenske. He turned a dinghy into a hot tub several years ago because he lived on a houseboat, winters get cold, and he thought, why not? Now he rents them and even sells them, in case, um, you’re in the market?  

Hot tub or no hot tub, let’s help you make some plans…
