🌈 Pride, vino, and ‘the most unusual NW festival ever’

PAN YOU SAY YUM? Sweet tooth satisfied.

Two weekends ago, reader Jesús Segura tried his hand at making pan dulces, conchas, and empanadas with Mariela Camacho (@pan_y_mijas) of Comadre Panaderia. It all went down at Not Without Salt’s workshop space in Phinney Ridge.

“I learned so much!” Jesús wrote. “Mariela takes such great care & effort to source the most fantastic locally sourced ingredients. Paired with such a wide breadth and depth of knowledge of the culture & history, it’s an extraordinary experience. If anyone ever has a chance to take a class from her, do it! You will not be disappointed.”
