While we’ll miss summer swimming and frolicking in the sun, we’re not mad about welcoming back Seattle’s gorgeous grey — and neither is Kavya.
“These are the true colors; not desaturated,” she wrote last week on Instagram after we had a long run of smoke-filled skies. “It’s funny how this, the clouds not the smoke, has become my ideal weather – A warm cloudy Pacific Northwest summer day.”
Last week, we shared Curbed Seattle’s guide to taking the bus to Puyallup to check out the kick-off of the Washington State Fair — except we called it the Evergreen State Fair. In our defense, there are so many fairs. But still, our bad. 😑

Last week, KIRO Nights radio host Zak Burns called the Seattle Dog — a hot dog with cream cheese and grilled onions — “the shame of this city.” As devoted Seattle Dog lovers, Evergrey cofounder Mónica Guzmán and storytelling producer Ana Sofia Knauf were horrified.
