💑 Help us play matchmaker

Could your love life use a makeover? Join us this Thursday for a fresh spin on “The Dating Game.”

MODERN LOVE: IT’S THE DATING GAME

What even is dating in Seattle in 2019? We have no clue — but we intend to make it as entertaining as possible.

That’s why this Thursday, we invite you to grab a drink, put up your feet, and watch romantic goofiness unfold as you pair three couples together at Modern Love, our very first live and interactive dating game show.

What do we know about playing matchmaker? Again, not much. But! We’ll be in good hands with local dating coach Cora Boyd joining in as one of our co-hosts. She helps people break through the barriers that keep us from building meaningful relationships.

So save your spot ASAP and join us, Cora, and a crew of brave, single contestants for a wild, unpredictable night.

And don’t miss…

🔬 We are teaming up with the Pacific Science Center for a fun science night all about those crazy microbes living in your gut. Join us and local scientist Dr. Alexandra Kazaks on Thursday, March 28 at 6:30 p.m. for What Can Your Stomach Stomach.

☕ Save to the date for our next Evergrey Meetup Monday, April 1, at Third Culture Coffee. Come hang out with some of the best peeps on this side of the Cascades.

🍸 Our monthly cocktail class is back next month on Tuesday, April 2. This time, exploring the botanical world of gin. Who knew there was so much depth behind your grandpa’s gin and tonic?

WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER

Evergrey member Rachel Ciprotti Today we're shouting out new members Hannah Cotter, Lindsay Soyer, Tracy R., Nelson M., and Krista W. And we're kicking off a new series on the people who make what we do possible — our supporting members. ❤️ First up is Redmond's own Rachel Ciprotti... Where in town might people run into you? At arts events, especially classical music and theater. And at T-Mobile Park (no longer Safeco Field, y'all!) when the Red Sox are in town. What local business do you think deserves a shoutout? I recently discovered Boona Boona Coffee in Renton. Delicious food, excellent coffee, wine and beer, chill vibe. It's basically heaven. I found it via The Intentionalist, which highlights area small businesses. What's a local event you went to recently that you loved? Saw the one-woman play "140 Lbs" at Theatre Off Jackson. Stunning. Written and performed by Susan Lieu and directed by the incredible Sara Porkalob. Guess how I heard about the show? If you said The Evergrey — you're correct! What made you decide to become a member? As soon as it was an option, it was a no-brainer. I had been getting the newsletter for over a year, and it had introduced me to so many incredible organizations and events, plus it kept me informed about the major city happenings. I couldn't wait to support something that had done so much for me. What's something you're working on that you could use help with? I wish there was a local group for Red Sox fans. If you are one, please hit me up! I'd love to get together once a month and watch the games with other fans during baseball season. Possibly at Kessler's in Cap Hill, which is an awesome little sports bar (and it's woman-owned!). If you're a Red Sox fan and want to connect with Rachel (we love you, Mariners!), hit reply and we'll connect you. Want to join Rachel in supporting The Evergrey with a membership? Join here today for just $10 a month.
