HAWAII YA DOING? Wait, this was taken in Seattle?? Holy moly, summer. 😎 Thanks for tagging #theevergrey, Kelsey! (📸: @spacingout_)

“Seattle is now wearing her summer dress,” Kelsey wrote on Instagram just three days after our city’s unofficial/official summer kickoff, a.k.a. July 5. 🎉

And where better to bask in the sun than at Agua Verde Café & Paddle Club? It’s one of many local spots Kelsey’s featured on her Instagram account, @spacingout_, which rounds up her favorite places around town.

Getting hangry, but want to stay cool? You can take care of both cravings at Agua Verde, where you can grab some tacos and then paddle it out in a rented kayak.

Want some more inspo to hop in a boat? 🌊 Here’s a few ideas:

  • Take a kayaking class or, if you’ve already got the hang of it, rent a boat at the Northwest Outdoors Center in South Lake Union.
  • Head northwest to Ballard Kayak to enjoy the sun from Shilshole Bay Marina.
  • To take in a gorgeous (and different) view of the Seattle skyline, head to West Seattle and pick up a kayak at Alki Kayak Tours to paddle out on Alki Beach

Water you waiting for? Now let’s help you make some plans…
