In 2009, Tom Fucoloro and his girlfriend Kelli sold their car and moved to Seattle. Shortly after, he started a little website called seattlebikeblog.com.
Today, Tom and Kelli are married, have a family and still don’t own a car. And that blog? It’s become a prime source of news and information for riders around the city. Tom’s focus has always been on covering bike-related issues for the everyday commuter. His stories touch on everything from street safety to infrastructure development to community organizing.
Tom continues to get up to speed on biking with kids, and he’s committed more than ever to using bike commuting as a way to make Seattle a greener, more equitable city.
