THURSDAY

SATURDAY
Follow our meal plan. Fuel up at Bacon Eggs and Kegs in the morning, hit up all the dairy at the Washington Artisan Cheesemakers Festival and end your night in Chinatown with some delicious eats. You’re welcome.
Go to a Seattle comedian’s last show. Native Seattleite John Keister hosted a sketch comedy show for 15 years, and now he’s doing one last standup. “Natives, Newcomers and anyone else trying to make sense of this town” are invited for a last laugh. Kick off the Seattle Design Festival. The whole fest is two weeks long, but its super-fun opening block party only goes through the weekend. Bring the fam to see cool design installations and performances. (Downtown)
SUNDAY
Enjoy a Sunday sundae. Seattle’s top 20 ice cream shops are invading the Fremont Market and bringing all the frozen treats with them — there’s even a truck serving gelato made for dogs. (Fremont)
Explore Hawaiian culture. Our region has strong ties to Hawaii, and Live Aloha is hosting a day of hula performances, a lei making workshop and other fun activities. (Queen Anne)
Bounce down to Tacoma. Head south of Seattle to the “Biggest Bounce House in the WORLD.” We hope it can fit 27,000 people because that’s how many are interested in it on Facebook. (Tacoma)
